Two Brilliant Days at Hospitality Tech Expo 2026
Hospitality Tech Expo 2026 has come to a close, and our team is back from ExCeL London after two really enjoyable days. It was lovely to spend time with so many people from across the hospitality industry and to hear what's on their minds.
It was great to see so many of our existing customers in person. Catching up face to face, hearing how their venues are getting on and talking through what's next for them is always one of the highlights of an event like this.
Meeting new faces
We also enjoyed meeting lots of operators who were coming across Microtill for the first time, from independent pubs, cafés and takeaways to larger hospitality groups. Many stopped by to try our EPOS till systems and self-service kiosks for themselves, or to see how handheld ordering and our cloud back office work together day to day. A show deal that got people talking
Our exclusive Hospitality Tech Expo show deal was a big hit, with a complete, connected EPOS system available for £0 upfront. It sparked plenty of great conversations with venues looking to upgrade an ageing till system without a large upfront cost.
Cutting card fees with NuvolaPAY
The other big talking point was savings. Card fees are a growing cost for every hospitality business, so we spent a lot of time showing visitors how NuvolaPAY card payments can save them up to 50% on card fees. Many visitors also took us up on a free statement analysis to see exactly how much they could save.
Conversations that matter
The best part of any show is the conversations. We heard first-hand about the challenges venues are facing right now, from rising costs to staffing, and swapped ideas on how the right technology can make busy shifts run more smoothly. It's an exciting time for hospitality, and we left the show more enthusiastic than ever about the year ahead.
